Le pont Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge a été mis en service cette semaine !

Située à dix minutes du resort, cette nouvelle voie d'accès devrait faciliter la venue de touristes en provenance de la région du delta de la rivière des Perles.

Dès le jour d'inauguration du pont HZMB, un groupe d'une cinquantaine de touristes de la région de Guangdong ont été accueillis à leur arrivée à Hong Kong par Samuel Lau, le directeur général de Hong Kong Disneyland Resort !

Le premier festival Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival se tient ce weekend du jeudi 25 au dimanche 28 octobre 2018 à Central Harbourfront Event Space à côté du Parc Tamar sur l'île de Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort participe au festival avec Mickey's Kitchen qui propose une sélection de boissons et gourmandises déclinées sur le thème Disney !

Plus d'une centaine d'articles de cuisine et de maison Disney sont également en vente sur l'espace géré pendant ces quatre jours par le resort.

La collection World's Biggest Mouse Party est disponible depuis hier midi à l'aéroport International de Hong Kong.

Certains articles sont exclusifs au resort hongkongais d'après la responsable des quatre boutiques de l'aéroport (il apparait effectivement que certains articles ne seront vendus sur la zone Asie qu'à Hong Kong Disneyland Resort et non à Shanghai Disney Resort et Tokyo Disney Resort mais bien à Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort et Disneyland Paris. De même que Shanghai Disney Resort devrait proposer quelques articles que l'on ne retrouvera pas à Hong Kong Disneyland Resort et ainsi de suite entre les six resorts Disney).

La collection devrait être disponible sur le Parc et dans les hôtels du resort dun jour à l'autre.

Stephanie Young vient d'être nommée directrice générale de Hong Kong Disneyland Resort !  

Actuellement en poste à Disneyland Resort, Stephanie Young prendra ses nouvelles fonctions le 1er février 2019.

Samuel Lau, directeur général du resort hongkongais depuis mars 2016, rejoindra alors sa famille à Orlando et effectuera son retour à Walt Disney World Resort dans un nouveau rôle.

Stéphanie Young, depuis vingt-six ans auprès The Walt Disney Company, a déjà travaillé à Hong Kong Disneyland Resort de 2006 à 2009, période durant laquelle elle occupait la position de directrice financière.

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort - 17 janvier 2019.

Après le groupe taïwanais Mayday en mai dernier, c'est Ed Sheeran qui se produira sur le site de Hong Kong Disneyland Fantasy Road Outdoor Venue (le parking réservé aux autocars en temps normal).

Deux concerts sont prévus le 17 et 18 avril dans le cadre de la tournée mondiale de l'artiste britannique.

Outre Hong Kong, la partie asiatique de la tournée mondiale verra Ed Sheeran se produire au Japon, en Malaisie, en Corée du Sud, à Singapour, en Thaïlande et en Indonésie.

Après le Magic Gateway, centre de service à la clientèle, ouvert en septembre dernier dans la gare de chemin de fer de West Kowloon à l'attention des passagers en provenance de Chine Continentale, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort a inauguré un second Magic Gateway dans le Terminal Passagers du Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, le pont mis en service en octobre dernier afin de faciliter la venue à Hong Kong de touristes en provenance de la région du delta de la rivière des Perles.

Stephanie Young, nouvelle directrice générale de Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, a accueilli un groupe de cent touristes en provenance de Zhuhai et Zhongshan en ce jour d'inauguration qui coïncidait avec sa prise de fonction au sein du resort.

Le centre de service Magic Gateway fourni une assistance aux voyageurs à l'arrivée telle que l'information sur le resort, la réservation de chambres dans les trois hôtels officiels du resort (selon les disponibilités), la vente de billets d'entrée au Parc Hong Kong Disneyland, la réservation de tables dans les restaurants du parc à thèmes et des trois hôtels du resort ainsi que la possibilité pour ceux séjournant dans les hôtels du resort d'y effectuer l'enregistrement et d'y déposer les bagages qui seront par la suite transférés vers leur chambre d'hôtel.

Opening of new “Magic Gateway” Guest Service Center Extends Hong Kong Disneyland Resort’s heartfelt services to HZMB

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) today opened the “Magic Gateway” Guest Service Center at the Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) to bring its unique heartfelt service to guests the moment they cross the border. With reduced travel time, the Bridge has brought guests in the Greater Bay Area closer to HKDL, which is only 10 minutes’ drive from the Hong Kong boundary.

Stephanie Young, HKDL’s new managing director who took up the position on February 1, visited the center to inspect its operation and cheer the Cast Members on the first day of service. With more mainland tourists coming to Hong Kong for their Chinese New Year vacation, HKDL executives and cast members also specially welcomed about 100 guests from two tour groups coming from Zhuhai and Zhongshan at the center before they began their magical journey to HKDL.

“We shall continue to deepen our efforts to grow our business in the Greater Bay Area to take advantage of our proximity to the bridge. At the same time, the opening of “Magic Gateway” will enable us to showcase the world-class service of HKDL and extend it to all arriving guests at HZMB,” Young said.

The opening of the HZMB center followed the launch of the “Magic Gateway” Guest Service Center at the West Kowloon Station of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link in September 2018. In the first four months of its operation, the XRL center handled on average over 1,000 room check-ins and luggage per month, allowing HKDL’s hotel guests to start their travel comfortably.

Heartfelt service welcomed by guests

Located at the Passenger Clearance Building of the HKBCF, the new “Magic Gateway” Guest Service Center at HZMB provides in-town check-in and luggage transfer service for guests who have reservations at any of HKDL’s three themed hotels. It also introduces a new service to help guests making reservations at designated restaurants within the park and resort’s hotels. In addition, the center provides the latest HKDL information and offers, electronic park ticket purchase service, and walk-in hotel booking.

Peng Yonggang took the HZMB for the first time from Zhuhai to Hong Kong to celebrate the Chinese New Year with his family. He was visiting HKDL with his parents, wife, a 5-year-old son and an 8-year-old daughter for the first time. He enjoyed using the Guest Service Center to get the most updated information about HKDL so that they could enjoy hassle-free travel around Hong Kong. HKDL is an ideal destination for short-haul and weekend staycations for guests traveling to Hong Kong via the HZMB and XRL, as the resort offers endless entertainment experiences throughout the year.

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort - 2 février 2019.

Même si Hong Kong Disneyland Resort affiche toujours une perte au terme du dernier exercice fiscal 2018, les résultats sont encourageants !

Le resort boucle l'exercice fiscal avec une perte de (seulement) 54 millions de dollars hongkongais contre 291 millions l'année précédente soit une amélioration du résultat de 84 %.

Le chiffre d'affaire a franchi la barre des 6 milliards de dollars hongkongais, soit un bond de 18 %.

Le Parc Hong Kong Disneyland a accueilli 6,7 millions de visiteurs et connaît donc une hausse de fréquentation de 8 %.

Le taux d'occupation des trois hôtels du resort est passé à 75 %, soit une hausse de 6 %.

Et pour la neuvième année consécutive, la dépense moyenne par visiteur continue à augmenter (+6 %).

Depuis son inauguration en 2005, le parc totalise maintenant plus de 77 millions de visiteurs.

L'année dernière, la répartition des visiteurs s'effectue comme suit : 40 % de visiteurs sont résidents hongkongais, 34 % des visiteurs proviennent de Chine Continentale et 26 % de visiteurs internationaux complètent le tout, avec une forte présence de Japonais (+44%), de Sud-coréens (+34%) et de Philippins (+12%).

Trois nouveautés sont attendues cette année :  la nouvelle attraction Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! à partir du 31 mars prochain, dès l'été prochain, la nouvelle Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique préfigurant la nouvelle zone du Château ré-imaginé et Nemo’s Recreation Reef, un espace de jeux pour enfants inspiré du film d'animation Le Monde de Nemo qui complétera l'offre des services de l'hôtel Disney Explorers Lodge.



L'ouverture de l'attraction Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! approche :

je la sens bien cette attraction ant-man, la participation des acteurs rajoute un petit plus tres sympa en plus.
Ce resort evolue vraiment bien, une fois les futurs extensions prevues terminées a savoir la reine des neiges et la zone avengers il sera quasiment un parc de 2 jours !!

Les Personnages Pixar animeront à nouveau l'été à Hong Kong Disneyland avec la saison Toy Story & PIXAR Pals Summer Splash du 26 juin au 1er septembre !

La parade estivale accueillera deux nouveaux chars (Toy Story et Finding Nemo) en provenance de Tokyo Disney Resort où les célébrations du 35ème anniversaire se sont achevées il y a quelques jours.

Les visiteurs auront également l'occasion de rencontrer des Personnages Pixar issus de plusieurs films dont Toy Story.


Plusieurs spécialités directement inspirées de l'Univers Pixar seront proposées comme ce déssert "Forky"

Hong Kong récupère donc 2 chars de Happiness is Here (Tokyo)

Les réservations sont maintenant ouvertes pour les suites à thème Cendrillon de l'hôtel Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel !

Ces nouvelles suites sont situées au 7ème étage (où l'on trouve déjà les suites à thème La Reine des Neiges) et bénéficient donc des services du Kingdom Club.

Certaines Kingdom Club Cinderella Suites ont vue sur la mer, d'autres ont vue sur les jardins de l'hôtel.

Outre la décoration des suites, certaines commodités sont également thématisées comme la clef de la chambre, la signalisation de porte, les pochettes cosmétiques, les chaussons, les robes de chambre etc...

C'est joli mais j'ai toujours du mal avec ces meubles en bois marron et ces dorures aux cadre, tout fait chargé je trouve

J'apprécie les efforts fait par Hong Kong Disneyland Resort depuis quelques années ! Je trouve que leur offre d'hôtellerie Disney est la meilleure tout Resort confondu que j'ai pu faire (j'ai pas fait Tokyo Disney Resort). Le rapport-qualité prix reste imbattable même si a tendance à augmenter niveau prix depuis quelques mois.

Avec les manifs gigantesques à HK, y compris devant le parc, je ne sais pas si le parc est très fréquenté.

Les opérations étaient effectivement perturbées aujourd'hui, une partie des cast members se sont fait porter malade pour aller manifester et d'autres n'ont pas pu se rendre sur leur lieu de travail, les transports étant en grande partie paralysés, résultat un parc qui tournait de manière limitée...

L'aéroport à vécu la même situation ce qui a entraîner l'annulation de plus de 200 vols... idem dans certaines gares. Définitivement pas le moment idéal pour visiter l'ancienne colonie britannique...

Les opérations étaient effectivement perturbées aujourd'hui, une partie des cast members se sont fait porter malade pour aller manifester et d'autres n'ont pas pu se rendre sur leur lieu de travail, les transports étant en grande partie paralysés, résultat un parc qui tournait de manière limitée...

L'aéroport à vécu la même situation ce qui a entraîner l'annulation de plus de 200 vols... idem dans certaines gares. Définitivement pas le moment idéal pour visiter l'ancienne colonie britannique...

Nous on a eu les gilets jaunes qui tournaient en boucle sur les chaînes du monde entier.
