Quelques heures après The Walt Disney Company, Shanghai Disney Resort communique à son tour sur le land Treasure Cove et l'attraction Pirates of the Caribbean : Battle of the Sunken Treasure :

Shanghai Disneyland to feature first Pirates-themed land in a Disney park

March 19, 2014, Shanghai – Shanghai Disney Resort today announced that the first of its Magic-Kingdom theme park's six themed lands will be dedicated to characters and stories inspired by the blockbuster movie franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean. This first-ever Pirates-themed land in a Disney park, to be named Treasure Cove, will be unique to Shanghai Disneyland and include a major attraction, Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle of the Sunken Treasure, an all-new high-technology boat ride attraction. Today's announcement coincides with the completion of key structural work on the Pirates attraction, and marks another exciting milestone in the resort development.

Seamlessly blending Disney's storytelling and state-of-the-art technologies, Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle of the Sunken Treasure will be the first attraction built since the release of the Pirates films, and the first to heavily feature the characters and scenes derived directly from the movies. Employing many never-before-seen effects and technologies, Guests will be enlisted to go with Captain Jack Sparrow on an epic journey to find Captain Davy Jones' treasure. The ride will take Guests down to the ocean depths, through the bellies of pirate ships, and straight into the heart of a ferocious naval battle, all the while braving the nautical twists, spins and turns of a pirate adventure.

"And we're thrilled to announce that the resort's theme park will be home to a first new themed land and attraction, inspired by the phenomenal Pirates of the Caribbean movies that were originally inspired by a Disney attraction. Progress continues with construction at the Shanghai Disney Resort's build site in Pudong Shanghai and the resort remains on target to open at the end of 2015.

Franchement, quand on voit notre Adventure isle couplé au fort de POTC, la version de DLP est plus attrayante niveau théma que leur Treasure Cove. Il suffit de comparer les concept art de 1991 d'EuroDisney (finalement très fidèle à la réalité), le choix est vite fait !



Par contre, je me demande à quoi ressemblera leur version du ride avec ses "state of the art technologies". Ce qui m'inquiète, c'est qu'il ne font aucune mention des AA, qui est généralement leur grande fierté. J'espère que ce ne sera pas juste des projections

Il y aura quand même un Adventureland ou pas ?

Comme j'ai dit c'est ressemblant voir mieux chez nous sur pas mal de points , il suffira juste d'une rehab et update comme prévu un jour et ont dépasserait largement leurs treasure cove pour le peux d'update de notre pirates..

Pour les AA ,ils ont plutôt prévu des projections a la place et du vidéo mapping . Dans le style de ce qu'ils ont fait a Disney Hollywood a Orlando dans l'attraction du Capitaine Sparrow qui a du servir de test grandeur nature pour leur show ride de Potc .

Pas tel qu'on le connait mais parmi les six lands qui composeront le parc, il y aura les lands Treasure Cove (basé sur la franchise Pirates of the Caribbean) et Adventure Isle.

Et Adventure Isle consistera en quoi ?

alors là je suis sur le cul, la hauteur des bateaux et du bâtiment est hallucinante, merci pour ces photos .

Punes !!! Ci seulement une scène est comme ça, comment ça sera l'attraction en entier et le parc !! Là, ils poussent loin le bouchon.

Énorme !

Il n'y pas que de le (futur) parc Xingyuan, situé dans la Shanghai International Tourism & Resorts Zone, que de nouveaux arbres sont en cours de plantation : Treasure Cove a également accueilli ses premiers chênes châtaigniers provenant de la province côtière de Zhejiang.

Trees Put Roots Down in Treasure Cove

Horticulture create immersive experiences to tell Disney stories

April 3, 2015, Shanghai – As construction of Shanghai Disney Resort continues, the resort’s horticulture team has also been hard at work selecting unique trees and shrubs to plant in each of the resort theme park’s different theme lands to help create unique immersive guest experiences featuring a wide range of flora from across China and around the world. As part of this process, this week the horticulture team marked a major milestone with the planting of an 18 meter tall Chinese Chestnut Oak (Quercus chenii) in its new permanent home in Shanghai Disneyland’s Treasure Cove theme land.

The tree, which was moved from its hometown Zhejiang, could ultimately grow to over 30 meters and will become the tallest tree in the theme park’s Pirates-themed land. The tree will join over one thousand meticulously selected trees, and countless bushes and ground cover plants to create an immersive environment for telling extraordinary stories of the Pirates of the Caribbean.

At each Disney park and resort, horticulture serves as a key component in creating a blend of classic Disney storytelling with uniquely-designed and finely-crafted attractions. Horticulture is part of the bigger story Disney tells, and is used as a huge outdoor stage for setting the show, with trees, shrubs, and flowers playing the roles of props and even featured stars.

C'est tellement magnifique !!!! J'ai l'impression de voir les concepts de DLP dans les années 1990 !!!! C'est vraiment une réussite alors que le parc n'a même pas ouvert !!!!

Et un nouvel artwork de plus cette fois-ci montrant une scène pour Treasure Cove, le land Pirates de Caraibes de Shanghaî Disneyland. C'est une scène de nuit, mais probablement une scène extérieure devant la forteresse POTC, soit devant un restaurant soit devant l'entrée de l'attraction qui est peut-être ce que l'on aperçoit à l'arrière-plan.
Pour ceux qui ne le savent pas encore le site Disney and more est de retour ou je poste à nouveau quotidiennement et je suivrais évidemment de prés l'évènement du 15 Juillet.

Treasure Cove

Guests who venture into Treasure Cove will discover the first pirate-themed land at a Disney park. Created especially for Shanghai Disneyland, it’s home to a wild, colorful crew of scoundrels, always on the hunt for fun, action, adventure and danger. Rich in detail and storytelling, Treasure Cove is a raucous collision of color, sights and songs, blending cultures and countries with pirate frivolity, mayhem and personality.

The story of Treasure Cove dates back to the 17th century, when piracy was a thriving enterprise in the Caribbean. In Disney lore, this Age of Piracy featured a band of seafaring rogues who chased legendary treasures, fought monsters and battled each other, always with a humorous glint in their eyes.

Guests will be immersed in a pirate’s life as soon as they arrive at the entry, the first of five neighborhoods at Treasure Cove. From there, they will explore Shipwreck Shore, Fort Snobbish, Landlubber Landing and the Village, each with its own charm and personality.  The land features a mix of architectural styles, along with two giant ships, pirate-themed restaurants and a fun, water play area. Guests of all ages will enjoy the epic scenes in Pirates of the Caribbean – Battle for the Sunken Treasure, as well as the up-close action and acrobatics of the stunt show at El Teatro Fandango.

Pirates of the Caribbean – Battle for the Sunken Treasure

Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure is a spectacular indoor boat ride that will take guests on a rollicking adventure with Captain Jack Sparrow to steal the priceless treasure of Davy Jones. Seamlessly blending Disney storytelling and state-of-the-art technologies, the attraction features three large media domes, projected effects, lifelike animated figures, theatrical sets and sophisticated lighting to dramatically take guests on, over and even under the sea on a nautical adventure.  With a new, highly controlled ride system, the boats can spin, travel sideways, and even move backwards to create a highly personalized experience. Guests will encounter fearless pirates, mermaids and even a kraken. Disney's patented Audio-Animatronics and recent advancements in robotic technology will bring these pirates to a new level of realistic performance.

Explorer Canoes

Guests will experience a Caribbean island the way pirates first did – from the water – as they paddle real canoes through the waters of Treasure Cove. Along the way, they will enjoy the sights and sounds of the land. With the only propulsion coming from the guests and their paddles, the ride is quiet and stealthy, except when they must dodge attacks from onshore pirates shooting water cannons. Friendly and knowledgeable captains will lead each canoe and point out scenic highlights along the way.

“Eye of the Storm: Captain Jack’s Stunt Spectacular” at El Teatro Fandango

The elaborate and exciting stage production, “Eye of the Storm: Captain Jack’s Stunt Spectacular,” will make its global premiere at El Teatro Fandango. Starring Captain Jack Sparrow, “Eye of the Storm” brings fantastic stunts and swordfights, spectacular scenery, and stunning visual effects straight to the audience. Along with plenty of swashbuckling, the show presents light-hearted humor, a raging storm and a remarkable finale, as Jack fights off a Royal Admiral in a whirlwind adventure.

Shipwreck Shore

Shipwreck Shore is a water play area located onboard the remains of a shipwrecked French galleon and the surrounding beach. Children and Pirate “wannabes” will explore and play “make believe” in an interactive zone where they can spray, splash, squirt and even climb amid random bursts of water, sound effects and animated elements. Shaded seating areas provide a comfortable viewing area for adults and parents to spy on all the fun.

Barbossa's Bounty

One of the largest restaurants in all of Shanghai Disneyland, Barbossa’s Bounty is a celebration of the free-wheeling pirate life. A lively, aromatic, colorfully ramshackle “grog shop,” it reflects the personality of its owner and namesake, Captain Hector Barbossa. Featuring spicy barbecue from pirate chefs who love to show off their cooking skills in the demonstration kitchen, Barbossa’s Bounty also offers guests the opportunity to enjoy their meal in the themed dining room of their choice. Guests may also choose the extraordinary experience of dining inside the thrilling attraction,Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure.

• First Pirate-themed land at a Disney park: Treasure Cove brings the first pirate-themed land in a Disney park to Shanghai Disneyland. Courte, mais qui donne une idée de ce qu'on va découvrir. ça a l'air grandiose.

J'espere honnêtement que notre update pourra s'inspirer de ce tout nouveau POTC bien plus que des simples updates déjà effectués.

ça me semble peu probable tant le bâtiment doit sans doute être adapté à ces nouvelles technologies. Il faudrait refaire tout le ride !
