Imaginaire de ta part soit, mais ici, j'ai déjà vu des gens tenir un double langage, selon que ça provienne de Disney ou pas. Alors je me méfie ...

je suis degouté, je pars a los angeles en mai 2012, ma femme est ultra fan d'harry potter, on ira a universal studio hollywood je pense qu'on vera a peine le debut des travaux, et encore...

D'après les différentes sources, le land pourrait ouvrir fin 2014, et devrait remplacer le Gibson Amphitheater qui n'est que rarement utilisé ces temps-ci. En espérant qu'ils ne détruisent pas Waterworld, qui se trouve juste à côté...

la zone qui serait affectée a TWWHP me parait tout de meme nettement plus petite que celle reservée en Floride? Doit on alors craindre un monde moins immersif avec moins d'attractions?
Effectivement, j'espere que WaterWorld ne disparaitra pas....

en meme temps j'ai cru lire que Universal Studio Hollywood ne fesait que 16ha (en floride universal studio Orlando fait 160ha).... quand on sait que walt disney studio fait 27ha et qu'il est pas super grand je pense que se sera juste une attraction parmi les autre (jurassik park, les simpson, king kong....) sa sera pas un land comme en floride

Mais les Harry Potter sont des films Warner, pas Universal...?

Je suppose que l'Asie aura le droit a son Wizarding World of Harry Potter aussi non?

Si les films sont une productions des studios Warner, c'est Universal Parks & Resorts qui possède les droits adaptations pour les parcs à thème.
C'est dans le même états d'esprits pour les licences Star Wars et Indiana Jones dans les parcs Disney.

Selon lui, c'est bien plus que le Gibson Amphitheater qui cèderait la place à Harry Potter (Studio Tour ne fermera logiquement pas, son embarquement sera juste déplacé):


There are already a few rumors as to where the first phase for Hollywood might go; look for the Gibson Amphitheater to go away, as well as the Shrek 4D theater. Also expected to disappear are the Nickelodeon water play area and the Waterworld arena as well as the current tram loading area. Look for Hogwarts and environs to pop up first here. A second phase could pop up on the lot below/next to it, (towards the current War of the World's jet crash site and Falls Lake area) consisting of the London locales.

Speculation here – placing the castle on the upper lot allows for a smaller building footprint made possible by an illusion of height optical trick. Which should make the neighbors happy by a smaller intrusion upon their Valley views. And speaking of neighbors, the adjacent community of Toluca Lake was difficult to deal with in the past for Uni thanks to a particular resident. Roy Disney's passing, along with a sluggish economy, should improve that situation and help speed the environmental approvals needed.

One advantage that Hollywood's version of Harry Potter will have is that both the parent companies involved (Universal and Warner Bros.) will be close by. Just like Disneyland benefits from having corporate up the freeway watching over it, Hollywood’s set up will likely benefit as well. Which means if you thought Orlando did a great job with what they had, you will probably be even more blown away by the superior available local talent pool and closer corporate oversight the Hollywood version will get.

How it will effect Disney should be interesting. Expect a minor brain drain at least initially as Uni puts the project together. One thing that Disneyland Resort fans might expect is the approval of at least one E ticket for Disneyland Park proper, and quite possibly one more addition to California Adventure if Cars Land continues to do well. Don't expect a third gate at least for now. And I wouldn't expect to see Avatar making an appearance here... yet. Marvel, who knows.

I think Universal getting serious with both a state-of-the-art Transformers attraction and the Harry Potter expansion is going to be one of the best things ever to hit the Southern California theme park scene. As I've written before, a rising tide floats all boats, and Uni has certainly come to the forefront with these recent announcements. Add Matt Ouimet taking the reins at Cedar Fair/Knott's Berry Farm into the mix, nearby Legoland's and SeaWorld’s continuing improvements, as well as world-class attractions such as the San Diego Zoo, and the Southern California region becomes all the more attractive to vacationing families.

If the economy continues to improve, and mother nature behaves, it should be a spectacular decade ahead for theme park aficionados. The competition will benefit all of us, and I can't wait.

Incroyable nos Wds sont 10 hectares plus grand que le fantastique universal Studio Hollywood ? Les attractions font donc toute la différence.Rien que le Tram Tour est incroyable .J'ai du mal à croire que nos Wds soient plus grand .

Attention, le land Harry Potter est à Islands of adventure à Orlando et non à Universal Studios. Mais bon, ça ne change rien à ce que tu dis je pense en effet

D'ou tiens tu l'info pour la disparition de ces deux attractions?

Quelle disparition , elles n'existent pas à Hollywood ... (A Orlando, ce sont deux anciennes attraction re-thémées HP)

quand je parlais de disparition, c'etait plutot d'attractions en moins par rapport a la version Orlando, effectivement..puisqu'à Hollywood, rien n'existe pour le moment....

d’après la photo du post de J. Thaddeus TOAD le land va prendre quasiment la moitié du parc!?
après 2014-2016 c'est la même dans tout les cas on sait que se sera super long....
du moment que quand je ferai mon voyage à los angeles il n'est pas commencer a fermé les attraction de Shrek 4D ou waterworld, ou aucune dailleurs lol

Vue la faible taille du parc, j'espère qu'ils n'en boufferont pas la moitié uniquement pour HP. Il faut s'adapter à la situation!

C'est vraiement intrig et tres excitant à la fois! J'espere que Shrek sera relocalisé si il est détruit. En tout cas c'est une bonne nouvelle pour le parc et 2014 me semble correct en terme de délais...
