I saw Aladdin in the theater 8 times. Genie was the reason I wanted to be an animator. What an incredible experience to be able to animate this shot with the great Eric Goldberg. Une version story-board a été présentée à la D23. On peut y voir de nombreuses animations qui n'ont pas été conservées dans la version finale. On peut également voir que certaines actions effectuées par tels personnages dans le court-métrage étaient prévues pour être effectuées par d'autres personnages (par exemple, au lieu de voir Blanche-Neige, Mulan et Asha se tenir la main, on peut voir Cendrillon, Anna et Elsa).

Merci pour ce partage ! J'aurais aimé que le court dure plus longtemps pour voir tous ces personnages mais bon, je pense que le budget n'a pas dû permettre de faire plus (enfin je dit ça mais c'est déjà bien qu'ils aient pu inclure 543 personnages dans un court qui dure 9 min...)
Ça fait plaisir qu'Ursula, dont la scène n'existait pas dans cette version, ait finalement vu le jour car c'est mon passage préféré du court. J'aurais aimé que la scène entre Hercule et Yzma soit gardée, mais bon je comprends aussi qu'ils aient pu couper certaines scènes traînant trop en longueur comme les héroïnes qui se coiffent dans la salle de bain).

Il y avait tellement de bonnes idées de mise en scène dans ce court ! J'ai quand même mes préférées, que j'aurais bien voulu voir dans la version finale : - Anna et Elsa qui prennent vie depuis leurs statues de la D23. - Tarzan qui glisse sur la rampe des escaliers - Utiliser la chevelure de Raiponce pour descendre du cadre - Ariel qui se brosse les cheveux
