Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) has launched its first-ever “Carnivale of Stars” today, bringing on a rich line-up of excitement throughout spring and summer! The extended seasonal treat starts with Springtime celebrations today and will last till June 20, with a host of beloved Disney friends filling every day and night with Disney Magic. Brand-new spectacular offerings, including the “We Love Mickey!” Projection Show, the African-style Karibuni Marketplace and the atmosphere stage show “Moana: A Homecoming Celebration,” ensure guests enjoy an extraordinary Disney carnival starting from the new season of the year!

All-new “We Love Mickey!” Projection Show with dazzling visual effects and lighting

A series of surprises began to emerge during Springtime! More than 100 Disney friends are appearing in different ways with exciting activities around the resort from day to night. Starting from today, Minnie Mouse and her pals are inviting guests to a surprise party for Mickey Mouse at Disney’s all-new “We Love Mickey!” Projection Show along Main Street, U.S.A. every evening. This new surprise celebration will transform the buildings of Main Street, U.S.A. into a canvas for vibrant, colorful visuals that pay tribute to Mickey’s major milestones. The artistic experience features Mickey’s memorable classics, his full-color heyday and a crazy kaleidoscope of Mickey in modern styles. In the finale of the dazzling light show, Mickey will appear in his finest attire to thank everyone for the fantastic surprise. Itis a spectacle of color, music and visual effects that guests will want to experience again and again.



Disney friends inviting all guests to join the carnival across the park

There are new faces and long-time Disney friends appearing at different corners of the park during the “Carnivale of Stars.” Mickey, Minnie and the gang welcome the warm weather in their coolest spring outfits. Baymax and Hiro from Big Hero 6 await to greet guests in The Annex at Main Street, U.S.A., while Marvel Super Hero Black Panther and the brave heroine Moana make their debut appearances in Adventureland. Beginning in April, two more Marvel Super Heroes, Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man, will appear in Tomorrowland.





Come join the colorful “Disney Friends Springtime Processional” every afternoon when joyful music rings out along Main Street, U.S.A.! More than 30 Disney friends will be joined by nearly 50 performers and a colorful flower train to share cheerful songs and dance with guests. StellaLou will join Duffy, ShellieMay and Gelatoni in the processional for the first time in their brand-new spring outfits. Guests can also say hello to Disney friends including Judy and Nick from Zootopia, Alice and the White Rabbit from Alice in the Wonderland, Marie from The Aristocats, the Seven Dwarfs, Tigger and Piglet, and dance along in the vibrant and immersive processional.



The popular “Disney Character Egg Hunt” returns this year. Close to 100 character-themed eggs are scattered around the park and the resort hotels. Guests will have a cracking good time searching for the enlarged eggs decorated after Disney friends, Marvel Super Heroes and more! Some new faces will appear, including StellaLou, Black Panther, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, Frozone and others. Everywhere guests go, they will no doubt uncover a character egg for photo-taking!

Exquisite landscaping at “Disney Friends Springtime Garden” recreates scenes from beloved Disney stories. See how many of these colorful Mickey and friends vignettes you can find in the setting, and snap unforgettable photos to your heart’s content!  

Indulge with a blooming range of gifts and delightful snacks

Take time to browse the range of 70-plus Springtime gift collections, among them are seasonal exclusive assortments of the Duffy and friends Spring collection and the Easter Bunny-themed collection, as well as the Eggstravaganza egg-shaped characters series. There is a wide-range of apparel and accessories, plush toys, stationery, toys and pins to share the carnival magic with friends and loved ones. Fans should not miss StellaLou dressed in her spring and Easter costumes!



The park and the resort hotels’ restaurants are presenting over 50 delectable choices of Springtime delights. Find Duffy and ShellieMay Sweetie Rings, StellaLou Purple Potato Mousse and StellaLou Lime Freeze at Market House Bakery. The park and resort hotel restaurants are also serving sumptuous spring-themed sets and menus, such as the “Spring Dining Package with DIY Cupcakes Workshop” at Royal Banquet Hall, the “Chef Mickey Family Day Dinner Buffet with Springtime Cookie Decoration Workshop” at Chef Mickey and the “Spring Time Afternoon Tea” at Walt’s Cafe.



The biggest Easter Magicarnival at the resort’s three themed hotels

From now to June 20, 2018, guests staying at the resort’s themed hotels will receive the season’s exclusive Eggstravaganza-themed gift pack, which includes an amenities box, Disney slippers and a door sticker. Adorable Spring-themed towel art will greet guests in the room to bring even more delight.

The resort’s three hotels will bring guests a series of Easter celebrations of the largest scale ever. For ten days between March 30 and April 8, 2018, the “Easter Magicarnival” will spread out across the lawns of the three resort hotels, offering a full range of over 30 fun activities for families to enjoy. Take part in egg-citing activities at the Bouncy Zone and other kids activities. Have fun with the entire family at a Disney character-themed egg hunt. Young guests are welcome to join fun creative workshops to make their own Mickey gift bags or Easter handicrafts. Enjoy special variety performances, and look out for Disney friends who will make surprise appearances. More new offerings to debut one after another  

Riding on the vibrancy of the season of renewal, “Karibuni Marketplace” will open next to Theater in the Wild in Adventureland on March 30, 2018 to immerse guests in the lively colors, sights and sounds of Africa. Guests can take part in interactive games such as the Wheel of Fortune, Blongo Balls and Plinko, and win a chance to take home exclusive souvenirs. Guests can also enjoy various special snacks they will only find at this marketplace. A number of Disney friends from beloved adventure stories will await guests there, including Carl and Russell from Up, King Louie and Baloo from The Jungle Book, Timon and Rafiki from The Lion King, Genie and Jasmine from Aladdin, as well as Lilo and Stitch. The first attraction of the resort’s current multi-year expansion, “Moana: A Homecoming Celebration,” will be launched in May in Adventureland.





The carnival atmosphere will extend to summer from June 21 to September 2. The theme park will create a big splash of fun with the first-ever Disney∙Pixar-themed “Water Play Street Party” joined by various Disney∙Pixar stars, including Mr. and Mrs. Incredible from The Incredibles and beloved characters from Toy Story. Together with performers, they will ensure guests soak up a cool, water-filled summer celebrations along Main Street, U.S.A..



#CreateADisneyCastle with memorable photos

The transformation of Hong Kong Disneyland’s castle is fully underway. The transformed castle will pay tribute to 13 Disney Princess stories and take the park to new heights with all-new day and nighttime entertainment. The themed hoarding around the castle narrates the scenes of 13 Disney princess stories, with lyrics from the stories’ classic songs. Guests can scan the QR code on the hoarding with their mobile phones to find out more about the Disney princess stories and the offerings in the park that relate to the Disney princesses. HKDL invites every guest to join the magic and help create a Disney castle mosaic! Guests are welcome to share a photo taken in front of the Disney Princess scenes or any memorable photo at the park on Instagram with #CreateADisneyCastle or upload directly to www.CreateADisneyCastle.com to create a Disney castle mosaic together.



Limited-time special offers for Magic Access Members

From now to July 15, 2018, Magic Access (MA) members can enjoy the “Bring a Friend” offer for HK$419^ per guest (a discount of up to HK$200), bringing friends to the park to enjoy “Carnivale of Stars,” “Moana: A Homecoming Celebration” and lots more! From March 17, 2018, MA members may redeem a member-exclusive collectible Disney egg pin* every week for six consecutive weeks in person in the park! With the new redemption arrangement, members have to present their valid membership card in the first week, and during the second to sixth week, members have to present their valid membership card and an on-day eligible purchase receipt of any spending to redeem an egg pin. The egg pins are limited in quantity, and available for redemption while supplies last.

J'avais signalé en février dernier l'intention de la direction de Hong Kong Disneyland Resort d'héberger à l'avenir des conventions, des événements sportifs et des concerts sur le resort, en voici la première confirmation :


Le parking réservé aux autocars accueillera des concerts en plein air dès le mois prochain : MAYDAY 2018 LIFE TOUR est programmé du 4 au 6 mai et du 11 au 13 mai 2018 (concerts à 19h15).

Lors des concerts, le site est officiellement renommé Hong Kong Disneyland Fantasy Road Outdoor Venue.

Karen Kwan, Business Solutions & Events Director Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, ambitionne d'attirer d'autres chanteurs et groupes musicaux à se produire dans le futur à Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

Ces actions ponctuelles devraient amener à Hong Kong Disneyland Resort des fans en provenance de Taiwan, de Chine Continentale mais aussi de pays plus éloignés, ce qui devrait profiter non seulement aux trois hôtels Disney du resort mais aussi au Parc à thème grâce à la vente de forfaits comprenant une nuit en chambre double à l'hôtel choisi, deux billets d'entrée au concert, 2 billets d'entrée au Parc Hong Kong Disneyland pour deux journées, un Disneyland Attraction Priority Pass, 15 % de réductions dans les restaurants et 20 % de réduction dans les boutiques.

Mickey et Minnie Mouse ont fait une apparition surprise au cours du premier concert du groupe taïwanais rock pop Mayday à Hong Kong Disneylandand Resort !

Monster, Ashin, Stone, Masa et Guan You se produiront six fois sur la scène de Hong Kong Disneyland Fantasy Road Outdoor Venue lors de la première quinzaine de ce mois de mai.

Mayday est un des groupes taïwanais les plus populaires depuis sa création au milieu des années '90.  

En marge de la cérémonie d'inauguration de Jungle Junction (voir le sujet sur Moana : A Homecoming Celebration), le resort a présenté à la presse et aux blogueurs locaux le programme estival Carnivale of Stars qui animera le Parc cet été :

All-new atmosphere stage show, “Moana: A Homecoming Celebration”


Moana: A Homecoming Celebration” has officially opened and the interactive and lively performance is already a hit with park guests.

The brave heroine Moana has sailed to the park to appear in this enchanting, 20-minute live atmosphere stage show. The show is set in Jungle Junction, an entirely new outdoor venue in Adventureland. Every evening, guests can enjoy the vibrant and colorful “We Love Mickey!” Projection Show along Main Street, U.S.A.! Minnie Mouse and her pals are throwing a surprise party for Mickey Mouse. This celebration pays tribute to Mickey’s major milestones and features his memorable classics, his full-color heyday, and a crazy kaleidoscope of Mickey in modern styles.

Refreshing summer snacks and merchandise

Savor a range of more than 30 food and drinks this summer all across the resort! All-new summer delectable choices will be available for guests to chill out with at HKDL, including fresh fruits snacks at The Explorer’s Club Restaurant and the summer frozen snacks at the Outdoor Vending Cart. Water-filled activities at the three resort hotels

Guests staying in any of the three HKDL hotels can maximize their summer experience with a series of summer-themed recreation activities.

The Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel presents little guests with Moana Adventures in Oceania, an immersive poolside adventure, themed to Moana, where they will go on a mission to return the heart of Te Fiti. At Disney’s Hollywood Hotel, guests can jump for joy in a Moana-themed giant bouncy water slide at the poolside. Disney Explorers Lodge has a Summer Party and Poolside Adventure for little explorers, featuring fun poolside toys and mini-games.

Arts and crafts recreational activities will also be held across the hotels this summer. At a special welcome party in the park, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) today proudly introduced a new Disney character named Cookie, the newest friend of Duffy. More than three hundreds fans from all around the world cheered in excitement as they meet this adorable new friend of Duffy at her global debut at HKDL.

Cookie is a girl puppy who is inventive and resourceful, particularly when it comes to food. With her signature beautiful eyes and long floppy ears, Cookie charms her fans with her passion for delicious recipes to delight and amuse. This food lover, in a chef’s hat with a cute pink bow, is the very best of friends with Duffy, ShellieMay, Gelatoni and StellLou.

Starting from today, guests at HKDL will be the first to meet Cookie in person at “Main Street Cinema: My Journeys with Duffy – Presented by Fujifilm.” HKDL is also proud to offer exclusive merchandise items celebrating her arrival, including desserts and other snacks inspired by Cookie herself and her creative recipes.

A special recipe for friendship

Duffy first met Cookie along Main Street, U.S.A. while he was about to enjoy some delicious cotton candy. He accidentally bumped into Cookie who was carrying a huge stack of waffles and all their treats flew into the air! Luckily, Cookie caught them, which inspired her to turn the ingredients into a cotton candy waffle sandwich. The accident turned out to be a recipe for friendship!

Fans from around the world gather to meet Cookie

Satomi Iwano, a super fan of Duffy and Friends who specially made a trip from Japan to Hong Kong to meet with Cookie, said, “Duffy and Friends are really popular in Japan. Every time I visit Hong Kong, I also come to HKDL to meet Duffy and his friends in person. I also love adding to my Duffy merchandise collection! Last year, I even welcomed StellaLou when she first arrived in Hong Kong. I'm so happy that I could join this magical moment today to welcome Cookie and meet so many Duffy fans from around the world!”

Tiffany Wong, a local Duffy fan, said, “As a huge fan of Disney and Duffy, today is definitely a big day. Daily Arrival Moment of Cookie

Every day, a special arrival moment to welcome Cookie will be staged in front of “Main Street Cinema: My Journeys with Duffy.” After that, guests will be able to meet Cookie in person there and learn her new ideas about food!

Exclusive Cookie assortment and delicacies tailored for fans

To celebrate the debut of Cookie, HKDL will be introducing over 50 Cookie merchandise items this year, including the fans-must-have plush toys, limited edition pins, accessories, headwears, stationeries, housewares and apparels, all of which are exclusive to HKDL. More Duffy and Friends merchandise items are on the way throughout the year to ensure fans can bring home lots of Duffy goodies! In July, a new set of Cookie-themed Magical Coin Press will soon be available in “Main Street Cinema: My Journeys with Duffy”.

Cookie loves to come up with different food combinations and share them with friends. C'est juste incroyable de constater le nombre de japonais ayant fait le déplacement JUSTE pour un simple character ! La gamme Duffy & Friends est discutable sur de nombreux points, mais en tout cas pas sur sa force marketing, pratiquement aussi efficace qu'une nouvelle attraction !

Une nouvelle suite vient de voir le jour au Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel

Cette suite Frozen laisse rêveur, si j'avais les moyens j'y séjournerai volontiers. La décoration est impressionnante tout en restant vraiment sobre et élégant.
C'est un beau cadeau pour les fans de La Reine des Neiges.

Ces nouvelles suites sont situées au septième étage de l'hôtel, l'étage du Kingdom Club du Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel (l'équivalent local du Castle Club).

Certaines Kingdom Club Frozen Suites ont vue sur la mer, d'autres ont vue sur les jardins de l'hôtel.

Outre la décoration des suites, certaines commodités sont également thématisées comme la clef de la chambre, la signalisation de porte, les pochettes cosmétiques, les chaussons, des en-cas sucrés (disposés dans la suite à l'arrivée) et le service à thé (prestation incluse pour deux personnes en après-midi au salon du Kingdom Club).
