[DCL] Construction de 3 agences de location de voiture à Port Canaveral

Il vient d'etre annoncé qu'un projet de $2 million, à été voté pour implanter 3 nouvelles compagnies de location de voiture, à proximité du terminal DCL. Ce qui sera un net avantage pour les croisieristes Disney

Port Canaveral will soon have a new rental-car complex built near the Disney Cruise Line terminal. Port commissioners unanimously voted for the $2 million project and gave port staff permission to begin the process of finding car-rental companies to fill the building. There will be room for three car rental companies, 571 vehicle spaces, office space, a fueling station and a car wash. A project timeline has not yet been announced.

The location of the complex and its proximity to Port Canaveral will make it a convenient stop for cruise passengers. Payless Car Rental is currently the only car rental agency on the property and their franchise owner has expressed interest in moving to the new building.

Mike Meekins, senior director of cruise and port operations, says that this project has been talked about for a while and is something that car-rental companies have requested in the past. He hopes that the rental agencies' lease agreements will help generate revenue for the port.

Port Authority chairman Tom Weinberg says of the project, "It makes Port Canaveral that much more desirable a location to sail. It will be a win-win for the port and the rental companies on site, and a significant advantage for our passengers."

Très bonne nouvelle en effet ca facilitera les choses meme si en effet a l'heure actuelle il y'a déja des agences de locations dans le coin qui propose des navettes gratuites jusqu'au terminal.

nous on a louer une voiture chez budget, vous savez si il y a une navette du port a l'agence ?

Apparemment oui ils ont bien un systeme de navette au niveau de leur agence comme toutes les agences de location de Cape/Port Canaveral

ah c'est une bonne nouvelle car je me suis dit qu'il faudrai prendre un taxi jusqu'a l'agence et la j'ai vu le poste qu'il y avait des navette vers certaine agence pour cape canaveral. En plus je suppose qu'elle sont gratuite ces navette ?

Pour Alamo c'est gratuit oui, alors je pense que ça sera aussi le cas pour Budget.

Les voitures possèdent des GPS en général?

Non, il est dispo en option mais en fonction de la durée il est préférable d'en acheter un

Ou si tu as déjà un GPS chez toi, il est souvent plus avantageux d'acheter une carte des USA pour la mettre dedans. 
De mémoire j'avais payé la mienne une 50 aine d'euros l'an dernier, et elle comprends USA + Canada.
Du coup elle va me servir de nouveau cette année
