New Disney Hotel to Open in Tokyo Disney Resort

URAYASU, CHIBA - Oriental Land Co, Ltd. has announced the signing of an agreement with The Walt Disney Company to open a third Disney hotel within Tokyo Disney Resort in 2008 (tentative). The nine-story high hotel will have about 700 guestrooms and will be larger than either of the other two Disney hotels, the Disney Ambassador Hotel and Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta. A third Disney hotel is necessary to continue to provide a resort environment where Guest can stay longer to enjoy all that Tokyo Disney Resort has to offer, including two theme parks, dining, shopping and entertainment. Also, since the other two Disney hotels have annual occupancy rates of over 90%, there is growing demand for more room space.

The new hotel will be built in front of Tokyo Disneyland Park in the current Guest parking area with the Disney Resort Line ’s Tokyo Disneyland Station situated between the hotel and the Park.

The exterior of the new hotel will reflect the early 20th-century Victorian architectural style of the Park’s World Bazaar themed land and Tokyo Disneyland Station.

While grand and elegant, the hotel will generate a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that will give Guests a taste of the enchanting experiences that await them in Tokyo Disney Resort. The typical Guestroom will be spacious enough for a family to stay in comfort.

Note: A 1,800-car parking structure will also be built in near the hotel to accommodate Guests visiting Tokyo Disneyland Park.

Third Disney Hotel at Tokyo Disney Resort

URAYASU, CHIBA - Milial Resort Hotels Co., Ltd. announced that the new Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, the third Disney Hotel in Tokyo Disney Resort, will open on Tuesday, July 8, 2008. The new hotel will mark its grand opening during the Tokyo Disney Resort 25th Anniversary celebrations.

Tokyo Disneyland Hotel stands in front of the Disney Resort Line's Tokyo Disneyland Station at the main entrance of Tokyo Disneyland Park. Because of its location, the hotel serves as the "front door" to the Resort, welcoming guests with its grand and luxurious Victorian design. The hotel design blends with the architecture of World Bazaar, which is the first area guests see upon entering Tokyo Disneyland Park. Victorian-style hotels are found at several Disney Resorts, with the first one having been built at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. This architectural style was chosen because Walt Disney, who was born near the end of the Victorian era, championed the values and ideals of that time throughout his life. That heritage will continue with the new Tokyo Disneyland Hotel.

As the largest of the Disney Hotels at Tokyo Disney Resort, Tokyo Disneyland Hotel features 706 guest rooms. Like the two existing Disney hotels, the majority of the guest rooms are designed to provide a comfortable stay for guests visiting as families. The hotel also offers four banquet rooms in different sizes to cater to various needs. A lounge on the lobby level (third floor) and two restaurants on the first floor provide guests with a luxurious dining atmosphere. Four shops offer Disney merchandise, gifts and sundries.

The year 2008 will not only mark the grand opening of Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, but also the 25th anniversary of Tokyo Disney Resort. During this milestone year, the Resort will host a yearlong jubilee as a place for everyone to visit. The slogan for the celebration is "Unlock Your Dreams" and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel will provide a memorable and dreamlike experience for guests who wish to be immersed in the world of Disney during their entire stay at the Resort.

Note: Banquet hall reservations are scheduled to begin on Monday, September 3, 2007. Hotel room reservations are scheduled to begin 6 months prior to the hotel opening.

J'adore ce mélange de DLH pour le côté victorien et de Beach Club Resort (pour les tons bleus et blancs, le rendant légèrement plus décontracté)

En tout cas j'aime bien le bleu du toit. Cela change du rose.

Nous sommes passes devant le chantier, et c'est reellement impressionnant! Un hotel immense aux portes du parc Disneyland, comme a paris, un tout petit peu plus eloigne quand meme, car nous ne serons pas oblige de passer a travers comme chez nous. Tout etait encore sous baches et echaffaudages, donc nous n'avons rien vu de fini. mais ce sera surement un tres bel hotel a visiter

Le chantier semble toucher à sa fin, et le résultat est splendide, j'ai hâte de voir à quoi ressemble l'intérieur.

Je dois avouer que je préfère mille fois le charme discret de notre Disneyland hotel aux fastes pompeuses de ce Tokyo hotel!

Cette hôtel à l'air magnifique, splendide, somptueux! Vivement que l'intérieur nous soit dévoilé! Et vivement que la facade centrale et les jardins soit terminés!

Mais si je devais choisir entre cet hôtel et le nôtre je choisirais quand même le nôtre qui tape plus dans la féérie.

Ce sont 2 magnifiques hôtels mais ils ont exactement la même différence qui existe entre notre château de la Belle au bois dormant et celui de Cendrillon à Tokyo (ou Floride).
Le 1er est le plus féérique, le plus merveilleux, le plus magique, tout droit sortit d'un conte de fée, alors qu'à Tokyo c'est le plus imposant, le plus majestueux, mais restant dans le réalisme...
Pour les hôtels c'est la même chose celui-ci bien que magnifique, est moins féérique que le Disneyland Hôtel (et ses couleurs roses, ses toits, etc...).

Mais sinon OUI les Japonnais ont été bien gâté!!

Les japs font pas les choses à moitié,l hotel risque bien d etre sublime à l'interieur comme a l'exterieur .Les details sont toujours là avec eux^^,le kawaii sera present lol.

Entièrement d'accord. Je ne sais pas si ça ne ressort que sur les photos (peut-être qu'en vrai il est bien plus impressionant), mais je trouve que les tons bleus donnent un air beaucoup trop froid à l'hôtel. Pour l'instant, il n'y a rien quie se dégage des façades, c'est masif, impressionant, mais pas "beau" (à mon sens évidemment).

On verra à la fin des travaux mais je reste optimiste car on sait qu'on peut entièrement faire confiance aux japonais pour de la qualité (et j'imagine déjà l'interieur!!).

Pour les éventuels intéressés les prix vont d'environ 350€ pour une chambre standard à environ 3600€ pour le top du top...

On peut accéder au rêve pour un peu moins que cela : moi je choisirais bien la chambre Alice au pays des merveilles (car en plus des chambres standards et des plus luxueuses, ils ont eu la bonne idée de faire des "characters room" sur le thème de Peter Pan, Alice, Blanche Neige et Cendrillon) est à 230€ en basse saison.

Oui exacte j'aurais du préciser en haute saison... La premiere grille de tarifs que j'avais utilisé était en japonais....pas facile de s'y repérer lol...

Difficile de ne juger que sur une photo, mais le résultat final me semble moins victorien que versaillais (à part les tourelles).
