1999 - Juillet 2011: Intégralité des films produits personnellement par Walt Disney enfin tous édités !

Pour information à destination des complétistes:

Après les vhs et les laserdiscs dans les années 70 à 90 et les 8 premiers dvd Disney sortis en 1999,

"Emil and the Detectives (1964)" qui vient de sortir en dvd zone 1 aux etats-unis, cloture l'intégralité des films produits par Walt Disney de son vivant sortis en salles.

Tous ces films sont enfin disponibles soit sur le marché du neuf ou sur celui de l'occasion.

Sur 88 films, 86 sont disponibles en dvd zone 1 ou zone 2 et 1 est disponible en laserdisc ou VHS.

C'est la première fois dans l'histoire du "home entertainment" que l'ensemble de la filmographie cinématographique de Walt Disney est éditées dans son intégralité.

Pas tout à fait exact, The Sign of Zorro n'est pas sorti en tant que tel en DVD.... De plus, The Light of the Forest est sorti que pour les profs et introuvable, même sur le marché de l'occasion !

The Sign of Zorro n'est pas un film en tant que tel, mais une compilation d'épisodes de la série tv. The Light of the Forest est disponible en dvd dans une collection spécifique certes mais a été distribué par Disney et on le trouve sur Ebay de temps en temps ou dans les conventions.

De nombreux titres sont épuisés ou disponibles dans une collection avec abonnement (les Disney Movie Exclusives) mais c'est quand meme la première fois que toute la filmographie a été éditée sur un support unique sur une durée relativement raisonnable de 12 ans.

Compilation ou pas, il en demeure pas moins un film non disponible en dvd. Après je suis d'accord avec toi, c'est tout de même une belle performance...

Je ne chipotte pas. Je corrige une inexactitude. De plus, toi comme moi, on a oublié que Mélodie du sud n'est pas sorti en DVD officiellement...

Dans ce cas on peut préciser "mise en vente de la totalité des films originaux produits par Walt Disney sortis en salles" qui excluent donc Sign of Zorro et aussi les films Davy Crockett sortis en Europe

Pour mélodie su sud, le film a comme tu le sais un statut particulier et n'est plus proposé officiellement sur aucun support depuis 20 ans, donc je n'en ai pas tenu compte. (il est disponible sur supports officiels VHS (UK) et Laserdisc Disney (JPAN)

Autant je peux comprendre qu'on ne tienne pas compte de Signé Zorro (encore que...), autant je ne conçois pas qu'on oublie Mélodie du Sud, quelque soit son statut, et qui empêche malheureusement cette news (certes, tout-à-fait louable) d'être totalement vraie.
